FIGHTERS from Hartlepool Catholic Club face an uphill task to have their arm raised in front of a sell-out crowd tonight.
The club's dinner show at Seaton Carew's Mayfair Centre sees 12 town fighters take to the ring against a strong array of opponents, who have all been tipped to give the home boxers a run for their money.
Five of the town stars, including top of the bill Amanda Coulson, face fighters from a Danish select side and head coach Paul Allen said the capacity crowd will certainly get value for money.
He said: "It should be a good night for the neutral because every fight could go either way.
"Obviously I want our fighters to win and the training has gone well. But once they get through the ropes it is up to them to do the business."
Coulson has had her bout changed after original opponent Yvonne Baek Rasmussen withdrew through injury.
She is now up against fellow Danish international Gry Espensen who is expected to prove just as big a test as Rasmussen if not more.
It is the first meeting of the two and Coulson is now trying to find out as much as she can about the opponent who she has never faced.

Mark Smith
But perhaps the most intriguing bout of the night comes in the form of former junior champion Mark Smith, who steps up his boxing comeback with his first fight on home soil in 14 years.
Smith returned to the ring after more than a decade away last Friday night when only an injury cost him a place in the ABA semi-finals.
The 32-year-old was on course for a major upset against England number two Tyson Fury, but he was forced to throw in the towel towards the end of the first round with a knee injury – not helped by the absence of his regular knee brace.
Smith is now chomping at the bit for a full fight and it will be a clash of the super-heavyweight behemoths when he faces Allan Gardiner.
Coach Allen said: "He has dropped a clanger by not wearing his strapping and he has paid the ultimate price for it.
"I wouldn't want to be the guy in with him, without a shadow of a doubt."
Stuart Buckley faces Jonathan Strom, a fighter thought to be similar in style to no frills Sunderland boxer Glenn Foot – the man who knocked Buckley out in the Tyne, Tees and Wear ABA semi-final.
Allen said: "Strom is a really tough cookie and perhaps he is just a bit more technical than Foot."
Stable-mate Callum Winton will be full of confidence against Heza Abdalla after reaching the final of the regional ABAs last week with a second round stoppage over Sunderland's Jamie Guilean.
Allen said: "We could not believe how easy it was for Callum because he drew the guy who we thought would be a danger.
"He was right on the ball from the bell and I don't think the lad was expecting Callum's power."
Elsewhere on the bill, Shauna Brazell takes on Birthe Jenson, while Jack Winspear, Jamie Lee, Adam Elliott, Danny Laffin, Paul Robinson, Alan Robinson and Gareth Roberts are all in action.
Dinner is 7pm for a 7.30pm start and the boxing gets underway at 9pm.
