AMANDA Coulson jets out to China facing a task of Olympic size proportions – to bring a medal back from the World Championships.
The Hartlepool star has collected three medals in European tournaments and now wants to carry that form into biggest female boxing show on earth.
Coulson has won silver at the Amherst Comet Cup in Turkey and the EU Championship in Liverpool in the summer before taking bronze at the Witch Cup in Hungary.
And the 26-year-old is in confident mood after warming up with a whirlwind first-round stoppage win at Seaton Carew 10 days ago.
"I feel great," said the Catholic Club boxer. who will be taking part in the Under 66 kilo division.
"My preparations have been brilliant – the sparring in the gym and my last fight at the Mayfair Centre plus I've had a lot of help from Eddie Ellwood.
"I want a medal and I'm going out there to give it my best shot.
"From my last three international tournaments, I've won two silvers and a bronze.
"It would be a dream come true to get gold but I just would love a medal and I'll be disappointed if I don't get one.
"I know it's going to be hard – you could draw the world number one or anything."
