Charity quiz night

TOWN residents are being given an opportunity to test their knowledge and raise money for seven young people’s charities later this month.

The Raby Arms, in Hart village, will play host to a quiz night on Wednesday, January 30, at 7.30pm, with all the proceeds going to charities which Hartlepool Borough Council chairman Stephen Akers-Belcher has chosen to support.

The cost per individual is £3 which includes admission to the quiz along with a bowl of soup and dumplings. The maximum number per quiz team is six.

Tickets can be obtained by contacting Eileen Larkin or Karen Mason at the Civic Centre on (01429) 523702 or from the Raby Arms.
