EVERYBODY has an opinion about alcohol.
After all, 90 per cent of the adult UK population drink it.
On the one hand it can lubricate the smooth-running of our social lives.
On the other, excess consumption can result in anti-social behaviour, crime and serious health problems.
So what d
o you think about the use or misuse debate? Here's your chance to get involved.

DO you see alcohol's social benefits or its social evils? Does drink enhance lives or destroy them?
Your views are as valid as the next person's. We want to hear them.
What is important is to find out exactly what you think about drink and your views will go towards a report for government on the state of the region.
You can complete the questionnaire on line by visiting:
www.northeastbigdrinkdebate.org.uk
You can also be entered into our free prize draw to win one of 10 iPod Shuffles. Please include your name and address on a separate piece of paper and return it to the Freepost address with your questionnaire.
These details will only be used for the prize draw and not in connection with the answers to your questionnaire.
You can also enter the prize draw if you complete the questionnaire online.
