I HAVE just seen the most fascinating exhibition called The Knitted Bible, in St George's Church at the corner of York Road and Park Road in Hartlepool.
Anyone that has ever tried knitting with two needles, four needles or French knitting, sewing small items together or even reading the Bible, must visit this exhibition.

I feel it is something our town should be very proud of, even to the programme which lists each individual display and how the bible stories are told in the knitted figures and animals.

An amazing, fascinating exhibition for all ages.

M Chappell,
Hartlepool.
