CONGRATULATIONS to Hartlepool Horticultural Society for another successful show, the obvious dedication of the growers was clear to see.
I'm writing to thank Tom Hammond and his committee for our excellent position in the hall and the help and co-operation from them, also to Katie Hammond and Sue and the staff of the Borough Hall and to explain our role at the show.

Northumberland
and Durham Area of NAFAS which our two Hartlepool flower clubs are affiliated (Hartlepool and District Flower Club and Hartlepool Afternoon Flower Club) are celebrating 40 years of membership to NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arrangers Society) with a 'flower trail' across the area.

Having previous years provided a display for the show, it seemed an excellent opportunity for the two clubs this year to join together and have two special exhibitions with our contribution from Hartlepool to the celebration, also enabling us to promote our clubs and floral art.

Wishing you continued success.

Our meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at Springs Health Club at 7pm.

Hartlepool Afternoon Flower Club meets the second Wednesday in the month at Seaton Carew Social Club at 2pm, the chairman is Sheila Storrow.

Kath Crawford,
Hartlepool and District Flower Club Chairman.
