WITH reference to the article about Wynyard Mews (April 5), I am pleased to see Coun Marjorie James and PC Stewart Longstaff are concerned about it. I really don't think anyone else is.

I was the first one to put my name down for my flat as I worked in Wynyard House and thought I would settle in Wynyard Mews for life.

However, over the years it's gone from bad to worse.

I was really happy here, now I feel ashamed and very upset as I haven't got the money to move on.

To make matters worse, he service charges have just gone up.

When you complain they say it's the vandalism and people are not paying up. Well that's not my fault.

Just what is the answer?

Betty Saint,
Wynyard Mews,
Hartlepool.
