Judging the judges
Published Date:

I WATCHED some of Britain's Got Talent (the only TV show which has dropped a question mark) the other night.
I am perplexed by its popularity. It's a national talent show that without the lights and apocalyptic background music wouldn't seem out of place down the local social club. Nothing wrong with it at the social, but two hours of it on telly!
And am I the only one to see the irony that the judges of this contest really have no right to judge anyone?
A misleading former newspaper editor, a woman who had an affair in the public eye and the man who made a fortune from the "music" of Robson and Jerome. The man with a grin so cheesy it's only a matter of time it has its own dairy product range.
Mr Cowell rakes in an astonishing amount of the public's money and frankly I'm annoyed by him and those who vote.
