I AM an ardent Pools supporter and have been for 40 years, holding a season ticket for a lot of those years.
But listening to people (good supporters in the past), I understand some have not renewed their season tickets because of the offer of bringing someone who doesn't normally go to Pools with the offer of £100 for the season and the true supporter paying a lot more.

It's our centenary year, wouldn't it have made more sense if the £100 was across the board like Huddersfield?

A full house would have been guaranteed every match, I can tell you.
One really good supporter who, along with his wife and son went home and away, are so disillusioned that it was going to cost him £700 where three 'no-supporters' would be paying £300.

Where is the justice? No thanks for all the years paying full price. Come on Pools.

Will the £100 supporters be back next year when prices are normal?
I doubt it.

I will remain a true blue, but I understand fully other people's thoughts.

K Sterling,
Chichester Close,
Hartlepool.
