BUDDING performers will audition for Hartlepool Stage Society’s next production.
Auditions for Acorn Antiques! The Musical will be held this weekend to fill the starring roles in the hilarious show.
The show, written by Victoria Wood, is based on the 1980’s comedy sketch of the same name based around the antic of an Antique shop with deliberately cheesy story lines and a wobbly set.

They will be take place in the Stage Society’s hall on Glamorgan Grove, Throston and leaders say new members are always welcome.
Acorn Antiques! The Musical comes hot on the heels of Hartlepool Stage Society’s last successful show Let Us Entertain You which was held at the Grand Hotel in Hartlepool.
It raised a grand total of £1,069 through ticket sales after a two night stint.
