HUNDREDS of classic and vintage vehicles will be on display at an event this weekend.
The show will take place in the car park of Hartlepool’s Maritime Experience from 10am to 4pm on Sunday and feature vehicles from around the region including cars, motorcycles, buses, vans and wagons.
The event is organised by the Northern Bygones Society (NBS) – a club which is open to anyone with an interest in vintage or classic vehicles or indeed any vintage collectables.
It’s free to see the show or to enter a vehicle in it and entries are welcomed from NBS members and non-members – just turn up on the day by 10am.
Paul Jackson, NBS main organiser, said: “We’re delighted to be coming to Hartlepool again as we receive such a warm welcome and our show always attracts a lot of admirers.
“This is a great opportunity for people to see some pieces of living history and have a chat with the owners and find out the fascinating stories behind their vehicles.”
Claire Munroe, of Hartlepool Borough Council’s cultural services section, added: “The NBS show has become a really popular event in the Hartlepool calendar and it’s a great free day out for all the family.”
There will be awards for Best Car in Show, Best Bike in Show and Best Commercial Vehicle in Show and prizes will be presented to the winning entries at 3pm.
