SUPERMARKET shoppers were in for a fright as staff swapped their uniforms for these costumes for Halloween.

Colleagues at Tesco, in Burn Road and Asda, in Marina Way, got dressed up for the occasion for work earlier this week.

The frightening costumes will all help to raise money for charities the stores support.

Meanwhile, staff at BHS, in Middleton Grange, have also turned the haunting Halloween into a fundraising opportunity.

Face painting, raffles, fancy dress and cake sales in the store throughout this week have helped to raise cash for the NSPCC.
