HERE she is!

Little Lucy Lorimer is your Hartlepool Mail Bonny Baby 2011 winner.

Some 400 tiny treasures had their photographs taken.

A panel of judges chose a final 10 in each age group.

You voted in your hundreds by text, phone and coupon.

And from the final three – it was gorgeous 11-month-old Lucy who came out the bonniest of them all.

Her proud mum Mary Ellen Haise, 32, said: “I just can’t believe. We are just thrilled.

“Everyone thinks their child is gorgeous and there were so many bonny children I never imagined Lucy would be voted the winner.”

Lucy, who has an older brother Gavin Lorimer, eight, was taken along by her mum and dad, also Gavin Lorimer, 33, along to Middleton Grange Shopping Centre where the photo-shoots took place.

Full-time mum Mary Ellen said: “We wanted to get some portraits done of Lucy for ourselves. But it came as a real surprise when she was shortlisted into the last 10 in her age group.

“Then she was in the last three and all my family and friends just kept voting and then we got the call to say she had won. We are just over the moon.”

The family, of Northwold Close, in the Fens, Hartlepool, won a canvas print of Lucy and £100.

And as you can see, Lucy was more than happy to pose for more pictures when our photographer paid the family a visit.

Just pipped at the post was second place Matthew Pischos, who was in the 18 month-3 years age group who also gets a canvas print and £50. Third place went to Alyssia Cotson in the

3-5 years category who gets a print and £30.

Mail deputy editor Gavin Foster said: “Once again we had an amazing response to the competition as we always do with bonny babies.

“The judging was very difficult and the voting was fierce. Congratulations to our winner and a big thank you to everyone who entered – they were all gorgeous.

“Hopefully you will all have another go later this

year in the search for our 2012

Bonny Baby.”
