We’ve chosen dance for this week’s RetroMail spread.

But these are not just any old dancers. They each have success stories.

In 1996, Kellyanne Stephens beat 300 other North East youngsters to get to the final 12 children auditioning to star in a Children in Need number, but how did Kellyanne do?

Next is Eldon Grove primary school pupil Emma Walton, 8, who won a title at the 1994 BATD dance festival at Hartlepool College of Further Education. Tell us more.
