Memory Lane takes a look back to days spent enjoying time spent at the seaside on the beach.

Favourite places to travel to over the years have been the Blue Lagoon and a walk along the North Gare or playing in the sand dunes, Seaton Carew beach and the nearby amusement arcades and queuing for fish and chips from Don Bees or Youngs , walking along Middleton Road and across the swing bridge to get to Middleton beach, sitting on the Fish Sands with fish and chips from Verrills, playing under the Steetley pier on the the North Sands or further up the road at Crimdon, enjoying the amusements at the top of the cliff and then taking the steep path down to the beach area.
