TODAY’S Memory Lane is all singing and all dancing - thanks to this latest batch of vintage Mail photos from the 1950s.

“Our selection includes some wonderful snaps of dancers. It’s just a pity we don’t know who they are,” said archivist Susan Swinney.

“There is a picture of a mystery Pirates Dance too, complete with musicians, as well as one of The Arcadian theatre group.

“Ideally, I’d like to pin down names, dates and places for all the photos - so that I can file the details away in our archives.”
