TICKETS are set to go on sale this week for a reunion for anyone who lived on a Hartlepool estate more than 50 years ago.
As reported by Together Again earlier this month, Barbara Scott and Pam Collitt are organising the get-together for anyone who lived on the town’s Central Estate in the 1950s and 1960s.
Barbara has since been in touch and says tickets should be ready to sell this weekend.
She will be at Springs Health Club, in Harbour Walk, Hartlepool Marina, from 11am this Saturday with tickets, which cost £5 and include a buffet and raffle, available.
The reunion itself takes place from 7.30pm on Saturday, May 18 at Hartlepool Rovers Rugby Club, in West View Road.
Barbara, 62, who spent her early years on the Central before moving to the Headland and now lives in King Oswy, has fond memories of spending time at her late gran Margaret Ainslie’s house, in the former Watson Street on the estate.
She said: “I have had quite a lot of interest in the reunion, with about 40 people saying they will come, and Pam Collitt has also spoken to other people.
“I hope lots more people will be in touch to make the reunion a success. It would be great to see some familiar faces.” To find out more, call Barbara on 07896502516.
