THESE proud Poolies spread the word about their town as they stopped off in Portugal during a cruise.

Hartlepool couple Chris and Joyce Noble enjoyed a holiday on the Independence of The Seas cruise ship and remembered to take one of our Proud to be a Poolie posters with them.

The couple, of Egton Drive, Seaton Carew, visited Lisbon, in western Portugal, and had their picture taken to back the Mail’s popular campaign.

Our thanks go to them for backing our Poolie campaign.
