BINGO bosses have launched an appeal for the next big thing in racy writing.

Mecca Hartlepool, based off The Lanyard, is looking for people to send in their own naughty short story in no more than 750 words to appear in the firm’s magazine.

There will be five regional winners winner – Scotland, North of England, Midlands and Wales, London and South East, South West – and one national winner

Every regional winner will receive a top of the range 32GB Kindle Fire.

The national winner will also receive a VIP night out at their local Mecca or vouchers to play online plus their story will appear in issue four of Mecca Mag, due out in September.

Gavin Lee, general manager of Mecca Hartlepool, said: “If the buzz created by Fifty Shades has given you inspiration to put pen to paper then we want to hear from you.

“We’re sure there are lots of budding writers out there and we can’t wait to read the short stories that come through – hopefully they won’t have the team blushing too much.”

The closing date for the “Satisfaction” short story competition is 1.55pm on July 15.

Each entry must be a short story of no more than 750 words and be emailed to satisfaction@meccamag.co.uk
