DANCERS galore have been showing off their talents at a festival which attracted competitors from all over the region.
The 15th Karen Liddle February Dance Festival came to an end at the Town Hall Theatre in Raby Road yesterday.
Contestants fought it out in categories such as tap, modern stage, song and dance, ballet, national, character and acro.
Organiser Karen Liddle said the whole ethos of the event was to encourage a friendly atmosphere. Children aged from two upwards took part and the schools involved include some from Hartlepool as well as others from Greatham, Middlesbrough, Stockton and Durham.
Karen, who has organised the competition for 15 years, has celebrated 25 years in the dance sector herself this year.
