WHERE could you get the Spice Girls, The Full Monty and Cheryl Cole under one roof?
The answer – or at least a group of people portraying the stars – was in Hartlepool where a charity night went down a storm.
“It was a great success,” said Amanda Duran, who was one of a group of friends who organised the event at the Camerons Club for Comic Relief.
The final total raised was £618.81 and stacks of fun was had by an audience which was treated to a string of dance routines.
There was Cheryl Cole being portrayed by Ray Campion, and the Full Monty team as depicted by Joanne Lowther, Tina Fuller, Gill Watt, Laura O’Driscall, Jenny Watt and Deana Flounders.
There was Cabrera performed by Ashleigh Robinson and the Spice Girls featuring a line-up of Gill Watt as Sporty Spice, Tina Fuller as Ginger Spice, Olivia Watt as Baby Spice, Stephanie Lowther as Posh Spice and Joanne Lowther as Scary Spice.
And not forgetting dance numbers from Megan Campion, Olivia Watt, Sharleigh Hammond and Tayla Whitmore; plus performances from Peter Rowlans, Janette Allen, Craig Walls and Arron Howell.
Amanda praised everyone who took part in the event and said: “The night was a great success and we had to turn people away who did not have tickets.”
