HARTLEPOOL dancer Stephanie Croxson is passing on her skills – five years after her talents shone in a BBC competition.
The town girl impressed millions of television viewers when she got to the final three in the Strictly Dance Fever competition in 2006.
Stephanie, 26, is now involved in a new stage show in the south and has invited friends and family from Hartlepool to watch her perform.
But as well as dancing, she revealed: “I am also the choreographer so I am hoping it will be a great show.”
The former Raby Gardens resident, who now lives in the south of England, has always been involved in choreography, but this is her biggest challenge yet.
She said: “The theatre I am performing in holds 1,000 people, but I am putting together the choreography and we are starting rehearsing for that now and throughout May.”
Her big date arrives on Thursday, June 9, at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford, Kent. The headline act on the night will be Shane Hampsheir and his 24 piece band performing the music of Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis.

Stephanie has also made a return to the dance school herself.
She explained: “It has taken me all this time to discover what kind of dance I want to pursue. I have tried lots of styles but I am doing exams in ballroom and Latin and I am in the middle of doing that.”
