BRIDE-TO-BE Gemma Kerr will enjoy the ultimate in wedding experiences as she travels to her wedding.
And that’s down to Hartlepool company Magic Moments which will be providing the stylish cars for her biggest moment in September.
Gemma, 28, will be marrying fiance Andrew Bazeley, 25, in the Captain’s Cabin on board HMS Trincomalee in Hartlepool, and she will arrive in head-turning style.
Magic Moments have been the provider of the wedding cars for the Bride of the Year competition, run by the Hartlepool Mail in conjunction with Robert Usher Photography, in every year.
Steve and Angela Howe run the Seaton Carew-based wedding car business and Steve said: “We have great pleasure in providing the happy couple with our wedding cars and we wish them every happiness for the future.”
Magic Moments caters for a clientele all over the North-East and Steve added: “We can provide an array of cars for their special day.”
Angela said: “Not only do people choose us for our beautiful cars but also because of the outstanding service that is provided.”
It’s the extra touches which make Magic Moments special. such as the emergency travel bag for the bride (filled with safety pins, velcro strips, pins, cotton, needle and thread, and sticking plasters) to cater for every last-minute hitch.
Steve said: “Since starting my own driving school business more than 20 years ago, it has given me the experience to realise what couples want and that is quality in an y service - but with a little bit of romance.” He said his driving school called Steve Howe To Pass had “passed a few couples our way too.”
Gemma said: “The car is absolutely fantastic. It is going to be a wonderful day and I can’t wait to travel in it.
“I am sure I am going to be nervous on the day from the moment I get up, never mind when I get into the car.” Andrew said: “The cars are really impressive.”
Bride-to-be Gemma is mum to six-year-old Madeline while husband-to-be Andrew is a Hartlepool refuse collector.
Gemma’s six-year-old daughter Madeline helped mummy becoming Hartlepool’s new champion in the competition. She wrote down the things that Gemma and fiance Andrew could say to the Bride of the Year judges on the finals night - and her words paid dividends.
