A NORTH East TV star has had to pull out of a comedy gig on Saturday night.
Jason Cook, who appears in the TV comedy Hebburn, had been due to MC the first of a new season of the Hot Potato comedy nights at Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre.
He has been forced to miss the show due to filming commitments.
But the 8pm show which will feature comics Charlie Baker and Paul Pirie will still go ahead.
Fellow Hebburn star and stand-up comedian Steffen Peddie will take Jason’s place.
Jason tweeted: “Hartlepool peeps! Sorry, but I’m going to miss tomorrows gig, got to go film something.
“In my stead I send you the incredible @SteffenPeddie.”
