Rita Ferguson, property manager for North East Press, said: “The new website gives our readers an innovative online property site to search for their dream home, as well as providing a platform for local estate agents to showcase themselves and the properties within their portfolio.”

The new Zoopla-powered website gives users a one-stop-shop for the whole property process with a complete and simple consumer experience.

This ease of use of the Zoopla system is a proven winner with over 12 million monthly visits to Zoopla.co.uk. Users of the new websites can expect to find local properties for sale and to rent, local property news, instant online property valuations, local market statistics and more.

Ashley Highfield, chief executive Johnston Press, pictured left, said: “Zoopla is one of the most innovative players in the online property space and this partnership sees them power an exciting new property platform for our local websites, adding further value to both our online audience and property advertisers.”

Joe Slavin, managing director Johnston Press Digital Classifieds, added: “A key reason for partnering with Zoopla is the great technological features they bring to our new online property offering.

“With the new platform, we will have access to all Zoopla data but the look and feel is entirely ours.”
