Zumb and cookery on the menu

TASTY dance moves and learning about healthy food. It’s a winning combination at a Hartlepool venue.

St Hild’s School in Hartlepool is offering classes including Zumba on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm to 8pm at a cost of £1.50 per session.

Spokesman Julie Fletcher said: “The classes are so popular we have been asked for an early evening session and are in the process of organising that now.”

St Hild’s also offers bodytone sessions on Wednesdays from 5.45pm to 7.15pm and Julie added: “This is a great class for stretching and toning which is funded by the Workers Education Association who support informal education in the community. The tutor Linda Hutchinson offers advice and a weigh-in too.

“As part of the full package we offer weight management classes every Thursday from 5.30pm to 7pm which includes a weigh-in, advice on nutrition and recipes.

“We also offer two healthy cookery sessions every Tuesday and Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm with chef Carl Stott.

“We offer a comprehensive package of dance, exercise , nutrition and most of all fun.”
