PEOPLE are running out of time to enter a TV lottery competition and win £60,000.
Groups in Hartlepool and east Durham can enter a competition that could help them improve their communities in time for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee year next year.
The Jubilee People's Millions is a Big Lottery Fund scheme run in partnership with ITV and with the approval of Buckingham Palace.
Sixty grants are up for grabs across the UK from a 3.6m funding pot, with four awards being made in each of the 15 ITV regions.
The competition is open to groups with ideas for community-based projects that improve places or the lives of local people.
This summer, a shortlist of projects will be showcased on ITV regional news and the public will vote to decide which projects receive the funding.
The deadline for entries is February 4 and for details of how to apply, ring 0845 102030 or log onto www.biglotteryfund.org.uk
