EMERGENCY services were called to a Hartlepool street over fears of a suspicious vehicle.
Police and fire reacted to reports of the vehicle in King Oswy Drive at around 9.35am today.
It was due to the vehicle containing a large number of containers of fluid.
A cordon was set up around the area while police investigated, but it turned out to be a false alarm.
A Cleveland Police spokesman said: “Officers and Cleveland Fire Brigade attended in order to assess whether there was any risk to members of the public.
“A small cordon was put in place while attempts were made to trace the owner of the vehicle.
“Enquiries concluded the vehicle and the liquids were not in fact suspicious, and the cordon was subsequently lifted.”
