A CHURCH is appealing for gifts to be donated that can be sent to those in need this Christmas.
Easington Colliery Methodist Church, in Seaside Lane, is holding a gift service as part of the annual Christmas Gift Appeal by The Salvation Army.

People are asked to donate new unwrapped toys and gifts for children, teenagers and older people in need this Christmas which will then be wrapped and distributed.

The gift service, on Sunday, December 5, from 10am, will be conducted by Rev Stephen Heath and at the service, songs will be given by children from Easington Colliery Primary School.
