Dead body found in sea

A LIFEBOAT crew have recovered a body from the sea near Hartlepool.
The body, believed to be that of a man, was found at North Gare, Seaton Carew.

Emergency services were alerted by a call from a member of the public and lifeboat crews raced to the scene shortly before 11.30am today.
Paramedics, Police and Coastguard were also involved.
