A PHYSIOTHERAPIST is celebrating a double success after clinching two lucrative contracts.
Paul Gough, who runs Paul Gough Physio Rooms, in Church Street, Hartlepool, was last month awarded a two-year contract to work with health care company BUPA.

His latest agreement has secured a deal to provide a physiotherapy service to Housing Hartlepool staff.

Paul, 27, from the Bishop Cuthbert area of town, said: "We are delighted to be given this opportunity and more so we are thrilled to be working with a company that values the health and wellbeing of its staff."

The service will help people with all sorts of injuries from a stiff neck or bad back to a sporting injury, whether the problems are caused in or outside work.

Paul said he beat off stiff competition for the contract and added: "Hopefully our service will prove to be cost-efficient for Housing Hartlepool.

"We will aim to keep as many staff as possible at work, and at very least get them back to work quickly than would have been possible without our physiotherapy treatment."

Kay Taylor, Housing Hartlepool's head of human resources, said: "Housing Hartlepool has engaged physiotherapy services for its staff since 2004 and we are pleased to come to a new agreement with Paul Gough Physio Rooms.

"The service continues our proactive approach to occupational health services, and is available to all staff who may have personal or work-related physiotherapy requirements."
