Young Middlesbrough stars Andrew Taylor and Adam Johnson might be feeling a bit red nosed after dressing up as Santa's reindeer as part of the club's Christmas promotion.

Taylor, from Hartlepool, and Johnson, from Easington, were among other players and coaches who posed for the hilarious photo shoot to accompany the launch of the Boro's second half of the season 10-game ticket.

The pictures are set to feature in the windows of the MFC club stores in the build up to December 25.

The players showed their light-hearted side by posing for the pictures.
But maybe being reindeer wasn't such a far cry from their day jobs!

As a winger, Johnson, 21, is often seen as a DASHER up the line as he DANCES around defenders in his drive for goal.

PRANCING left back Taylor, 22, shows lightning speed as quick as a COMET as he sleighs attackers with his skill in defence.

Their displays leave many adoring fans struck with CUPID'S arrow.

So why not DONNER costume to give the fans a laugh.

It's a different story when it's back to the serious business on the pitch this weekend when they will be BLITZEN the opposition.
