PET OWNERS can keep tabs on their pooch or moggie with free microchips on offer from the RSPCA.
Dog and cat lovers can bring their pets down to the Owton Rossmere Resource Centre, in Wynyard Road, Hartlepool, today to have them micro-chipped for free.

There will also be neutering vouchers on offer for people, depending on circumstances.

The free event takes place from 4pm-8pm.
