BUDDING fashion designers were given a lesson in style when they spent the evening as guests at a charity fashion show.
Pupils from St Hild's School in Hartlepool enjoyed the show at Time and Tide in Hartlepool, which was organised by local designers Julie Harrington and Rebecca Readman.
Rebecca told the Mail: "It was an excellent evening, but I'm not too sure of how much we raised yet. Julie's designs were all prom wear and mine were funky alternative wear. The students seemed to enjoy it."
All the money raised from the evening will go to the Hartlepool and District Hospice.
Julie – whose shop Julie Anne is based above the Butterwick Hospice shop, in York Road – will now deliver a series of follow-up workshops with the St Hild's pupils as part of the school's textile and design curriculum.
