THE Post Office consultation team say the main concern they received was about the attached shop, which is the only store in the village.
Residents also said there is a school near the branch which makes it convenient for local parents.
Post Office bosses claim there is good access available to alternative branches.
The nearest alternative post office is the West View branch, in Brus Corner more than two miles away from Hart along "varied terrain".
There is parking available and there are several other retailers within the shopping parade.
The second nearest alternative is King Oswy Drive branch, in King Oswy Drive, about 2.5 miles away.
There is roadside parking and small car park outside the branch.
Post Office bosses have confirmed they are satisfied that the alternative branches can absorb the expected increase in customers.
