THIEVES made off with a jetski worth £7,500 after breaking into a garage.

Police have launched an appeal for information following the theft of the blue Kawasaki Ultra 250x from an address on Seaton Carew seafront.

The jet ski, which was on a trailer, was stolen between 5.30pm on Thursday, June 4, and 8.25am on Monday, June 8.

A number of dry suits worth approximately £1,000 were also stolen.
Detective Constable Louise Sproson of Hartlepool Police said: "A person can't conceal a jetski easily, so someone must know its whereabouts.

"If anyone has any knowledge of where this jetski is now, please call the police."

Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the theft is urged to contact Det Con Sproson on (01642) 302126.
