A WOMAN and two children were left shaken after a lorry crashed into the back of their car.
The black Volkswagen Golf was travelling along Catcote Road, near to Rossmere School, in Hartlepool, when it was involved in a collision with a lorry.

The woman and two children inside the car are believed to have escaped unhurt, but were left shaken after the incident, which happened at 11.43pm yesterday.

A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said: "The incident was reported to us as a collision with damage-only.

"The ambulance was informed, but did not attend the scene.

"The car involved was recovered by a recovery firm."
