THIS is the first picture of Hartlepool Mayor Stuart Drummond and wife Rebecca's new baby daughter.
Mayor Drummond and his family say they are settling in well with new baby Rosemary Kate Drummond.

Rosemary, born last Thursday weighing 10lb 11oz, joined the Drummond household from the University Hospital of North Tees at the weekend.

Mayor Drummond, 34, says his new bundle of joy is settling in well to her new surroundings and has already proved to be a hit with her brother and sister Spencer, eight, and Harriet, two.

And at just five days old Mayor Drummond said Rosemary is already virtually sleeping through the night.

He says he is now hoping to spend some time away from Hartlepool Borough Council matters so he can get to know his new daughter and help her settle in with her new family.

Mayor Drummond told the Mail: "Rosemary is settled in and getting used to her surroundings, and Spencer and Harriet are helping out really well.

"Spencer and Harriet dote on her and they will do anything for her.

"She is sleeping virtually all the way through the night so far and she is doing really well. It is fantastic. I am looking forward to some time off with my family."

Mother and daughter returned home to Hartlepool on Saturday after the tot was born at 10.45pm on Thursday.

Following the birth a delighted Mayor Drummond told the Mail: "I am feeling on top of the world. She is absolutely gorgeous."
