Peddler of misery jailed for over four years

A STREET drug peddler snared in a town-wide crackdown on dealers has been locked up for more than four years.
Phillip Quinn was seen twice by police dealing in highly-addictive crack cocaine which a judge said caused nothing but misery.

Quinn, 41, was convicted of supplying another dealer with a rock of crack cocaine – who then handed it straight to undercover police.

Five months later he was spotted by an eagle-eyed officer dealing in Duke Street, Hartlepool, from his 4x4 car.

Quinn was linked with the drug when his DNA was found on the drug packaging.
