POLICE have issued an appeal for information after two burglaries on the same night.

Detectives are keen to speak with anyone who has any information about the raids, which saw thieves make off with a child's motorbike and a trike as well as other equipment.

In the first incident, thieves broke into an address in Brigandine Close, in Warrior Park, Seaton Carew, sometime between 10.50pm on Tuesday and 8.15am the following morning.

They broke into the garage at the house and stole a child's 50 CC blue Huscavana motorbike, as well as a mountain bike and helmet.

The second burglary took place between the hours of 5pm on the same night and 2.15pm the next day when a shed was raided in Tempest Road, in the West View area of Hartlepool.

A Honda trike and car trailer were stolen.

Contact Detective Sergeant Joanne Wright on (01642) 302121.
