A VISIT to Canada to see relatives was a perfect opportunity to spread the tall ships word.
Bernadette Newbury, from Hartlepool, visited Vancouver Island and met up with her cousins David and Sandra Macaulay.
They are originally from Hartlepool, but emigrated in 1968.
Fellow former Hartlepool resident Ann Gasson, who left town in 1963, also joined them for a photoshoot with a copy of the Mail's Tall Ships poster which is spreading the word about the biggest event ever to hit the town.
Bernadette also had her photograph taken with the poster when she visited Victoria Harbour.
Our thanks go to everyone who has sent in pictures of our poster around the world.
Thousands of you will be heading to see the tall ships when they finally arrive in Hartlepool.
Have a great time! And to show just how much of a fantastic time you had, we'd love you to send us the photographic evidence.
