POLICE have renewed their appeal for information after a man was stabbed.
Officers from Cleveland Police are investigating after the attack in the Wynyard Road area of Hartlepool at around 4.30am on Bank Holiday Monday.

Two teenagers have been charged in connection with the incident.
Aa 36-year-old man, from Hartlepool, is in a stable condition in the University Hospital of North Tees.

Detective Inspector Keith Groves said: "He is still stable in hospital.
"He did receive a number of stab injuries and we believe a knife was used in the assault."

A 17-year-old youth from the town appeared before Hartlepool magistrates earlier this week charged with wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article and has been remanded in custody.

Another 17-year-old boy, also from Hartlepool, has been charged with the same offences and was due to appear before town magistrates today and has been remanded in custody in the meantime.

Any witnesses to the incident, on Monday August 25, or people with information can contact Hartlepool Police on (01642) 302126 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
