Stabbing: Teenagers in court

TWO teenagers charged in connection with an incident in which a man was stabbed have had their cases transferred to crown court.

Gavin Jones, 18, of Kintra Road Hartlepool, and a 17-year-old youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were remanded in custody when they appeared before town magistrates yesterday.

Both are charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article on August 25.

Jones is also accused of aggravated vehicle taking and assault occasioning actual bodily harm on August 15.

They will both appear at Teesside Crown Court on September 11 and Jones will return to Hartlepool Magistrates' Court over the vehicle and actual bodily harm matters on September 19.
