ONLY a few tickets remain for an annual tribute evening taking place this week.
The kind-hearted friends and family of much-loved Liam Gough have raised more than £9,000 for Hartlepool and District Hospice since he sadly passed away on New Year’s Day in 2008, aged just 53.
And they have organised the sixth annual fundraiser in his memory to take place at the Rovers Quoit Club, in Easington Road, this Friday, November 15 from 7pm.
As usual, tickets have sold extremely well and only a few remain for those who want to show their support on the night.
The event will feature live music from local Freddie Mercury tribute act Billy West as well as raffles, auctions and other fundraising activities.
Among the prizes are two football shirts signed by one of Liam’s football heroes, John McGovern, who was only too happy to help support the event.
Tickets are £3 and can be bought from John Gough on 07904641875 or from the Hospice on (01429) 855529.
