WELLY fun continues at RSPB Saltholme with a variety of activities on offer for children and families.

The wildlife reserve, on the outskirts of Billingham, is inviting visitors to make use of old pairs of boots in a range of fun ways.

See how far you can hurl a boot with its welly wanging arena.

Visitors can also hang a boot on Saltholme’s welly wish tree, stomp through the welly splash, and take part in a welly trail or jazz up your old wellies.

Lots of welly-themed craft activities are also planned for half-term next week.

All events run between 10am and 4pm at Saltholme, on Seaton Carew Road.

Pick up a welly wanging kit at reception and visit the welly wanging arena to find out.

Individual activities cost £2 or free to reserve members.

A family welly pass costs £12 and again is free for members.
