HERE’s a chance to see more pictures from a trio of summer fun events that took place in Hartlepool over the weekend.
Hundreds of people turned out in force in the sunshine to enjoy the activities on offer at Hart Show, in Hart Village, the It’s a Knock-Out event at English Martyrs School and Sixth Form College in Catcote Road, Hartlepool, and a funday at Throston Primary School, in the town’s Wiltshire Way.
Keen photographer Kane Young took some snaps of the action at the Hart Show, which hosted activities including a dog show, medieval fighting, welly throwing, a photography exhibition, samba drummers form Hart Primary School, beat-the-keeper and trophy prizes, stalls, pony rides, cake and refreshment stalls, and children’s fancy dress.
The 36-year-old mechanical fitter from Hart Pastures, who is hoping to set up his own photography business, said: “Everyone had a lovely time.
“I went round and took a few snaps of people enjoying the different events and having fun. It was brilliant and another event in Hart where everything came off really nicely.”
Kids enjoyed seeing the fire engines and other fun events at Throston Primary School, while visitors at English Martyrs School participated in competitions such as kicking a football with flippers on.
