ADULT bookworms have come together to share their views at a monthly library club.

Owton Manor Library, in Wynyard Road, Hartlepool, hosted the monthly book club which is aimed at adults and is popular with residents from the area.

The session aims to bring people closer together by actively encouraging them to engage with a wide range of books.

Jackie Johnson, of Owton Manor Library, said: “The adult book club is held once a month at the library and we often get around half-a-dozen people coming along.

“It gives them a chance to discuss the latest book and have a chat with their friends about they liked and disliked.

“These sessions are held across the town at different libraries and they are popular with residents.”

For more information about future adult book club sessions call the library on (01429) 272835.
