A new competition could lead to your football team looking just champion.

The Hartlepool Mail has teamed up with Specsavers in the Middleton Grange Shopping Centre, to offer a complete set of football strips for one lucky team.

We look forward to hearing about the fantastic entries in this competition and are sure there are some extremely deserving causes out there. Specsavers is hoping its support can help a football team to look their best as they play to their best

Specsavers store director Ian Walker said: “We are always keen to support community initiatives and football is an extremely important sport in Hartlepool.

“We look forward to hearing about the fantastic entries in this competition and we are sure there are some extremely deserving causes out there.

“Specsavers is hoping its support can help a football team to look their best as they play to the best of their abilities.

“We urge the people of Hartlepool to nominate a favourite team of theirs, or for teams themselves to enter this competition.”

Specsavers’ Middleton Grange branch is no stranger to success.

It won the community section of this year’s Hartlepool Business Awards in a year when it supplied hi-visibility vests for local schoolchildren to help keep them safe on their way to and from school and when on trips.

Our competition is open to any team within the Hartlepool Mail circulation area.

To enter, simply send us your letter including your name, telephone number and email address, as well as detail about the team you represent.

Email your entries to chris.cordner@jpress.co.uk by Monday, November 16.
