DOG lovers are being reminded of a popular annual event being held later this year in support of a town charity.
Hartlepool and District Hospice’s third annual Dog’s Day Out will be held at Summerhill Country Park, off Catcote Road, in the town on Saturday, September 1.
People and their beloved pets can enjoy a day full of activities including a walk around the route and dog training.
Dog behavioural expert Jo Lee will attend and will host a question and answer session with members of the audience.
A dog show with prizes and other events to get the tails wagging will also feature.
The event will help to provide much needed funds for the Wells Avenue-based hospice enabling staff to continue offering specialist palliative care to residents in Hartlepool and East Durham.
