POLICE have issued an appeal for witnesses following a hit-and-run which left a cyclist injured.
Hartlepool Police want to hear from anyone with information about a collision which happened around 10pm on Friday, September 28, at the junction of Osborne Road and Lister Street in the town.
The collision involved a 38-year-old female cyclist who was riding a BMX bike and a silver car that failed to stop at the scene.
The woman suffered a a fractured wrist and was treated in hospital.
Police are appealing for information about the driver of the silver vehicle and for any witness who may have seen it to come forward.
